Yay!

I got it... finally. Rang the shop up yesterday expecting yet another "sorry out of stock" but to my shock and amazement they had it, they had my super cheapo magnificent looking toy camera. Big smile on face, travelled to Manchester to pick it up.

Not knowing what the hell to do with it, I headed to the nearest sitty downy type place (starbucks was the closest) to get it out and have a looksi. So ye, I'm not very good with instructions but i presume (hope) i got it right. Loaded the 120 film in and ran off into a random clicky clicky frenzy.

Before i knew it the film was already gone. I think this is because i am so used to the infinite amount of shots i get off my Nikon D80 i just went a bit mental so gotta calm that down or its gunna cost loads of monkey.

So quick as a flash rushed back home and to the nearest development shop to get it sorted.............. and well here are the results.

The (minor) Disaster

Shock! My little Diana is not in the shop...... they had sold out over the weekend. I called to make sure they had one in stock and save her for me, but neigh, she had run away with a stranger!

The day of adventure is now postponed until Diana is back safe and sound in the shop ready for me to come riding in on my shining white horse (well its a bus, but still) and swoon her off on some magical adventures.

I guess ill just have to drool over the pictures of Diana for a little longer, hopefully shes going to be picked up tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

So, this is my first blog ever. I'm a bit scared of all these boxes and the lack of anything in them....

Anyhew, I am Explorette. Just a photographer, nothing special and this is going to be a blog about my crazy adventures with my camera. I havent got her yet, im going to pick her up tomorrow.... her names Diana and hopefully we will get on well together.
